It was one of those weddings. Expensive. Lavish. The kind of spectacle that dominates the news cycle for weeks. Now, the newlyweds are supposed to disappear.
But not yet.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce aren’t jumping on a plane for their honeymoon just yet. First stop? Orange County, California.
They are prioritizing loyalty over leisure.
They have a confirmed RSVP. The wedding of New York Giants receiver JuJu Smith-Schster and Laura Kruk, July 11, Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel. Kelce knows Smith-Schuster from their days grinding together for the Kansas City Chiefs. They’re tight. So Swift and Kelce will be there, mixing with other NFL stars like Patrick and Brittany Mahomes and Kendrick Bourne.
They’ll likely fly off immediately after the ceremony ends.
The Global Itinerary
The plan was always big. Sources told The Sun the couple has locked in a globe-trotting itinerary designed to cut all digital lines. “Off the grid” isn’t just a phrase for them; it’s a strategy. Friends and family were warned beforehand: unless there’s an actual emergency, do not expect replies. Travis has to return to the field soon. They need this window.
The route looks ambitious.
- Bahamas : The start. Their favorite spot.
- Italy : Lake Como.
- France : Paris and the Riviera.
- Croatia : Ancestral roots for Kelce.
- Greece, Singapore, Australia.
- Hawaii : The finish line.
Why Croatia? Taylor loves the region already, but for Travis, it’s deeper. It’s family history. He’s eager to take her there, to ground this whirlwind life in something old.
Who wouldn’t want to vanish after all that spotlight?
They’re ready. They’ve been planning this for weeks, treating it like a mission critical to their sanity before the work week kicks back in. A chance to just be Travis and Taylor. Not the celebrities.
It’s going to be a long flight out of L.A.
