Taylour Paige, known for her role in “IT: Welcome to Derry,” has embraced a proactive approach to health and wellness that goes beyond typical celebrity routines. At 35, the actress credits a significant health challenge—endometriosis—with pushing her towards prioritizing both physical and mental well-being.

“There were many years where I was neglectful to myself,” Paige admits in the latest episode of Women’s Health’s “Well Said” video series. “Now, I feel like every day is a day earned, and I just don’t want to squander any of it.” This shift came after an endometriosis diagnosis, a condition affecting roughly 11% of American women. Paige revealed she underwent surgery to address the issue and intentionally focused on optimal physical health as preparation.

“I’m a recovering endometriosis warrior,” she explained. “Because my body was under so much stress with endometriosis, I wanted everything else to be optimal, so that my body could actually heal.”

Paige’s commitment extends beyond the gym. Maintaining mental well-being while filming “IT: Welcome to Derry” in Ontario, Canada, posed unique challenges due to prolonged periods away from home and limited sunlight exposure.

To combat this, Paige incorporated daily sauna sessions for both physical and mental benefits. She supplemented her Vitamin D intake, embraced long walks, and even utilized a crystal mat for grounding while reading psychological texts—highlighting the holistic nature of her approach. Her workout routine included Pilates and strength training two to three times a week.

Paige’s dedication goes deeper than what she revealed in this interview.
